Shreya’s love for patisserie began way back when she was a little girl, who would watch her mother bake all her birthday cakes while patiently waiting for leftover batter. From binge watching baking shows while day dreaming of having her own bakery one day, to completing her culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu London, Shreya always knew that being a pastry chef was her calling.
Having always had a strong inclination towards the fine arts- from painting to music to design, Shreya founded Essange with the intention to incorporate art into her desserts. From gorgeous florals to modern minimal cakes, she has always believed that creativity and innovation go hand in hand. Being a perfectionist, she believes that her intricacy and attention to detail along with her aesthetic is what makes Essange stand out. Combining this with high quality ingredients and utmost importance to taste, Shreya creates products that taste as exquisite as they look.
